A huge international event hits Arkhangelsk in October
Arctic.Youth.Innovations. this is the title of one of the biggest international annual events for young entrepreneurs in Arkhangelsk, which this time will be held in October 2012.
The Forum in 2011 was jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism of the Arkhangelsk Region and the Ministry of Economic Development of Arkhangelsk Region and attracted experienced and potential entrepreneurs aged from 18 till 35 years old. Around 150 people took part, among them were representatives of the Russian State Duma, Federal Agency of Youth Affairs, public associations of entrepreneurs, leaders of small, medium and large sized business entities, experts from Norway and Serbia took part in the Forum activities.
Within the Forum they learnt about the opportunities to start and develop business in the region. Special interest was arisen by the presentation of Mrs. Elin Sabbasen, director of Gaisa Business Park (Finnmark, Norway) who shared information about microcredit system. This year international cooperation and innovations will be in the spotlight. Within the Forum several workshops, roundtables, exhibitions, performances and trainings will be held. Some of them have titles, which are “screaming” at you: Face the Arctic exploration!; Entertain and earn in the Arctic!
If you are young and creative, if you have your own business of any kind like selling goods, photos, playing in a band, fishing, dancing, sewing, knitting or doing all that at the same time and making a profit, if you want to meet people like you, exchange your ideas, skills and experience, you are welcome to come to Russian North to the city of Arkhangelsk for our annual International Forum for Young and creative entrepreneurs from the Arctic!
